​Welcome to Clapham / Brixton Hill Better Start Area

We are a Better Start Children’s Centre, part of the Clapham and Brixton Hill Better Start Area, including Maytree and Tree House Children’s Centres. We are here to support you from the moment you know you’re expecting, through pregnancy and birth, until your child is 4 years old.

​We offer a range of services from fun Stay & Play sessions, breastfeeding support, weaning, healthy eating, advice about your child’s development, Speech & Language Therapy, parenting and training courses, and Citizens’ Advice support. We also can help you find an early education and childcare place. Our dedicated and enthusiastic staff team provide a safe and welcoming environment.
